Bananagrams - Year 5 and 6
During the spring term, a group of 32 Year 5 and 6 pupils entered a national competition: Bananagrams.
Bananagrams is a word game supporting word recognition, visual processing, sorting and classification, sequential thought and language development. Children must make word grids using all of the tiles before their opponent. Each group played head to head in elimination rounds until we had 2 finalists.
Qais and Djihan (Year 6) our worthy finalists, played an exciting and nerve-wracking game on Monday afternoon.
Congratulations to Qais who was crowned top banana!
