Berkeley Academy at Hammersmith Singing Festival 2018
On Thursday 21st June 2018, it was once again Berkeley Academy’s privilege to be able to take part in the annual Singing Festival at Hammersmith Town Hall. The participating children had all worked very hard over the preceding weeks, practising the songs at weekly sessions and also having enough responsibility to continue their practise at home, learning the songs by heart.
On the evening, following rehearsal with the conductor, the children performed to the audience with gusto and enthusiasm, really showing their dedication and school spirit. The songs were interspersed with performances from local bands and musicians and it was gratifying to see the Berkeley children nodding and dancing along, clearly showing a real love of music. After the performance, the singers were commended on their performance and obvious hard work.

For another year running, the children from Berkeley Academy have really represented their school well, and put on an incredible and rousing performance that they should all be as proud of as we are of them.
